As the Christkind takes a moment to breathe, it jots down a few ideas for improvement:

🎶 The Story Behind 'Silent Night'
As the Christkind hums the timeless melody of "Silent Night" ("Stille Nacht"), it reflects on the song's Austrian origins. Composed in 1818 in the small village of Oberndorf near Salzburg, this beloved carol was the creation of Franz Xaver Gruber and Joseph Mohr. Mohr, a young priest, wrote the lyrics, and Gruber, the local schoolmaster and organist, composed the melody.

Legend has it that on Christmas Eve, the church organ had broken down, prompting the duo to perform the song accompanied only by a guitar. Its serene melody and heartfelt message quickly captured the hearts of those who heard it.
